Estee Lauder Brands

As the lead designer for search and shopping experience, I worked on the best-in-class shopping features at the enterprise level. Because Estee Lauder houses multiple brands, to scale, our product team performed rigorous testing before a new feature is launched.

In 2023/24, we launched a robust AI search engine that minimalized drop-offs and loading time. In addition, we deployed search results and filtering features to enhance the global search tool.

GOAL

Improve Performance
There was a lack of responsiveness in the search suggestions and predictive search, where its often slower to generate results compared to competitors.

Enterprise Adaptation
Another concern was tool adoption across brands, because there wasn’t a clear cut standard for search, it was challenging to migrate from legacy to a modern search platform. This caused confusion with brands when it came to making enterprise updates.
